Abstract
Disertacijoje nagrinėjamos oro uostų eksploatacinio efektyvumo palyginimo problemos. Pagrindinis tyrimo objektas – oro uosto infrastruktūros svarbiausių eksploatacinio efektyvumo rodiklių nustatymas ir vertinimas. Autorės sudarytas oro uostų eksploatacinių rodiklių bendrojo palyginimo efektyvumo vertinimo metodas, kuris gali būti taikomas bet kurioje oro uostų imtyje. Pagal sukurtą metodą atliktas eksperimentas – tarpusavyje palyginti 15 oro uostų 10-tyje šalių. Disertacijos tema publikuoti 9 moksliniai straipsniai iš kurių 4 – Thomson Reuters ISI Web of Science duomenų bazėje esančiuose žurnaluose, 3 –tarptautinių mokslinių konferencijų pranešimų rinkiniuose, 2 – Lietuvos mokslinių konferencijų pranešimų leidiniuose.

Dissertation deals with problems of comparison of airports exploitational efficiency. The object of this research is the identification and assessment of most important airport infrastructure exploitation efficiency indicators. The author’s presented method for evaluation of comparable total exploitational efficiency of airports could be used for any set of airports. According the method the experiment is made in the set of 15 airports in ten countries. Dissertation consists of introduction, three sections and general conclusions as well as list of references and annex. The research problem, object of the research, the relevance of the work and conformity to the European Union priorities of research in area of airports until 2020 are presented in introduction. The aim of the work, tasks, methodology, the scientific novelty, practical relevance and defended propositions are presented also there. In the end of introduction are listed the publications and in journals and proceedings of scientific conferences. Chapter 1 - the research into theories of exploitational efficiency of airports. The section examines: types of exploitation efficiency indicators and their classification according to various authors, value creation theory application to airports when the interests and goals of the airport’s interested parties are different and exploitation efficiency indicators can be understood in different ways; as well as data envelopment analysis application to determine the exploitation efficiency of an airport. Formulation of the model estimation of airports total comparable exploitational efficiency is presented in Chapter 2. Chapter 3 provides the results of empirical research on airports total comparable exploitational efficiency. 9 scientific articles are published on topic of dissertation. 4 articles are published in ISI Thomson Reuters Web of Science journals, 3 in proceedings of International conferences and 2 in Lithuanian National conferences.
