Can active, engaged students contribute to making a difference at the University? “Very much so,” says Eglė Kliučinskaitė, a fifth-year student of the architecture programme at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VILNIUS TECH). She is one of the best models of how students gain professional knowledge not only during lectures and thus contribute to the development of the university and expansion of its boundaries. We talk to Eglė about the transformation of attitudes towards architecture, the benefits of various international and local experiences and the much-needed boost of enthusiasm and community among students.
