Reguliuoto Žalesos upelio pasklidosios taršos mažinimo priemonės ir jų efektyvumo vertinimas

Abstract

Straipsnyje nagrinėjama, kokią įtaką daro pasklidosios taršos mažinimo priemonės Pietryčių Lietuvoje esančio reguliuoto Žalesos upelio vandens kokybei. Atlikti vandens kokybės tyrimai, nustatytos fosfatų ir nitratų koncentracijos. Vandens kokybės tyrimams mėginiai buvo imami kartą per mėnesį (2014 m. birželio–lapkričio mėn.) 4 taškuose: 1, 2 ir 3 taškai reguliuotoje upės dalyje, 4 taškas nereguliuotoje. Šalia 1, 2 ir 3 taškų buvo atlikti pakrantės apsaugos juostų pločių matavimai bei sumedėjusios augalijos, augančios apsaugos juostoje, vertinimas. Reguliuotoje Žalesos upės tyrimų atkarpoje rasta 10 skirtingų rūšių sumedėjusios augalijos – iš jų 8 medžių ir 2 krūmų. Bendras sumedėjusios augalijos rūšių dažnis Žalesos upės šlaituose siekia 90 %. Visuose tirtuosiuose ruožuose apsauginių juostų plotis buvo daugiau nei 5 m., o tai atitinka pakrantės apsaugos juostų pločiui keliamus minimalius reikalavimus. Žalesos upėje nitratų koncentracijos augalų vegetacijos laikotarpiu yra artimos 0 mg/l. Tik pasibaigus augalų vegetacijos laikotarpiui nitratų koncentracija nežymiai pradėjo kilti, tačiau vis tiek neviršija geros upių ekologinės būklės leistinos koncentracijos (NO3 = 10 mg/l). Fosfatų koncentracijos Žalesos upėje visą tyrimų laikotarpį viršijo geros upių ekologinės būklės klasės ribinę reikšmę (PO4 = 0,2 mg/l). Didžiausios fosfatų koncentracijos, pastebėtos birželio–liepos ir spalio mėnesiais ir keliuose tirtuosiuose taškuose, siekė 0,82 mg/l koncentraciją.

The article examines the influence of diffused pollution reduction measures in the regulated Zalesa stream (located in the south-east Lithuania) on water quality. Water quality tests were performed, levels of nitrates and phosphates were determined. Samples for the water quality tests were taken once a month, during 2014, June to November. The samples were gathered in 4 different locations: 1st, 2nd and 3rd where in the regulated parts of the river and the 4th location was in the unregulated territory. Next to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd locations the measurement of the coast protection band width and valuation of woody vegetation in the coast protection band was carried out. On the regulated section, 10 different types of vegetation were found, including 8 trees and 2 bushes. The total frequency of woody vegetation types on the slopes of Zalesa stream amounts to 90 %. In all the examined sections, the coastal protection band was more than 5 meters, which corresponds to the minimum requirements of the coastal protection bands. The nitrate concentration during the plant growing season is close to 0 mg/l. Only after the growing season the levels of nitrates started rising but merely to the extent that does not overpass the allowed concentration of a river of good ecological status (NO3 = 10 mg/l). Phosphate concentrations in the Zalesa river throughout the investigation period exceeded the threshold value set for rivers of good ecological status (PO4 = 0.2 mg/l). The highest phosphate concentrations were noticed in June–July and October months and in some of the examined sections of the river reached 0.82 mg/l concentration.
