Causes, development dynamis and repair technology of potholes and cracks in asphalt concrete pavement

Abstract
Most defects of asphalt concrete pavement develop in the form of potholes and cracks. Cracks and holes make a comfort worse and reduce the speed of driving. Therefore they need repairing the initial stage of their development. In the research work reasons and development dynamics of holes and cracks in asphalt concrete pavement were examines. Analysis of the pavement advanced means and up-to-date maintenance technologies was carried out. Mistakes during repair of cracks and potholes were evaluated as well. In conclusions the main directions of holes and cracks repair in asphalt concrete pavement were proposed.
