Abstract

The article investigates the problems of creating and expansion of information system of Lithuanian railway as well as possibilities of replenishment of already created databank and its employment ill solving these problems. Lithuanian railways have been investigated as technical system. Databank has been described and the possibilities of expansion directions and using areas have been illustrated in the paper.
