Paper presents Lithuanian low noise test road that consists of 9 different short sections con structed from recently developed low noise asphalt pavements for regional climate conditi ons (SMA5 TM, SMA 8 TM, TMOA 5), traditional asphalt mixtures (AC 11 VS, AC 8 PAS-H, SMA 8 S, SMA 11 S), porous asphalt mixture (PA 8) and special low noise asphalt product. After 6 months of exploitation, wide spectrum of measurements and tests were performed in-si tu. Paper presents analysis and comparison of research results, collected after noise level measurements with Close Proximity (CPX) method. Despite the fact, that in every short sec tion of test road both lanes were constructed of the same asphalt mixture, large noise level differences between the lanes were identified and could be associated with the installation heterogeneity. Analysis include CPX noise level values comparison for different low noise asphalt pavements with relation to surface texture pattern and properties, driving speed and vehicle/tire types.
