Main criteria for assessment of load bearing structures of buildings

Abstract
The main evaluation criteria of load bearing structures building are analysed. Three main parameters, which can be measured during inspection of structures are deflection, distance between cracks and cracks width in structure. The methods for stress state determination in flexural structures of building according to measured of these parameters enables to evaluate with sufficient accuracy remaining resource of carrying capacity and possibilities of further use other characteristics for state evaluation of load bearing structures to classify states of load bearing structures according degree of exposure to danger into four categories is proposed.
