Svetimžodžių ir jų atitikmenų vartojimo studentų kalboje analizė

Abstract

Straipsnyje siekiama atskleisti svetimžodžių ir jų lietuviškų atitikmenų vartosenos Vilniaus Gedimino technikos universiteto studentų kalboje santykį. Pateikiami skirtingų mokslo sričių (Verslo vadybos, Aplinkos inžinerijos, Aviacijos ir Statybos) bei skirtingo amžiaus (I ir IV kurso bakalauro studijų ir II kurso magistro studijų) studentų svetimžodžių ir jų atitikmenų vartosenos tyrimo, atlikto 2016 m., duomenys. Analizuojami svetimžodžių ir jų atitikmenų vartosenos motyvai ir galimi socialinės aplinkos įtakos veiksniai, kurie lemia studentų pasirinkimą vartoti arba nevartoti svetimžodžius.

The article aims to show the relation between the use of foreign words and their Lithuanian equivalents in the VGTU students' language. The data presented are taken from the 2016 survey on the use of foreign words and their equivalents by students of different age (I and IV year BA students and II year MA students) and from different academic areas (Business Management, Environmental Engineering, Aviation, and Construction). The motivation behind the use of foreign words and their equivalents is analysed as well as possible social environment impact leading to students' choice to use foreign words or not.
