Analysis of rezults the experience of crop yield in Lithuanian agricultural sector

Abstract

The aim of paper is to analyze the advanced experience of other countries, to evaluate principles of crop insurance in order to give proposals for all negotiating parties. In the article is used descriptive approach, ratio analysis for assessment of principles for crop insurance system. In conclusions are given proposals to modify the principles of crop insurance system driving to “low-premium, wide-coverage“, to increase transparency on estimation of rates of damage and claim payments, be more focused on climate change trends.
