Change in approach towards new qualities for the cultural tourism
Abstract
There are countless ways and reasons to ruin good initiatives in every walk of human life. This includes also the blind need to concentrate human action on economic development at the cost of forgetting facts, events and processes that shaped the present countryside landscape and the built urban environment of the country. The synergetic approach, if correctly managed, towards the rehabilitation of the elements desired by society (and therefore already valuable for them) is capable of creating and multiply the effects as ,,PPP”, ,,Snow Roll” and ,,Pump Priming” and so on nearly everything which can be named as human being. This paper deals with a specific section of the 150-year-old railroad with its infrastructure and context. In its entirety it should be recognised and treated as one of the most significant and complex projects of technical heritage from 19th-century Lithuania. The leading role from the point of view of the general heritage belongs to the part of the built structures and separate buildings of the railroad infrastructure and their relation to the former and present urban, architectural and landscape environments of the territories.
