Abstract
The effect of polyfunctional additive based on fluoride anhydrite and carphosiderite as a modifier in producing magnesium concrete with the aggregate of metallurgical slag has been studied. This concrete has the enhanced physical and mechanical properties, which is proved by the methods of physical and chemical research. The influence of polyfunctional additives on modifying the mineralogical composition of the produced concrete and its microstructure has been investigated. The developed composition of modified magnesium concrete has the compressive strength of more than 110 MPa. The softening coefficient of modified magnesium concrete is 0.92, due to which it can be used as a construction material working in wet conditions.
