The paper presents efficient parallel computations of the patient-specific aortic valve on virtualized resources of the OpenStack cloud infrastructure. The main focus is on parallel performance analysis of the developed software service based on ANSYS Fluent platform, which runs on Docker containers of the private university cloud. The patient-specific aortic valve simulation, described by incompressible Navier-Stokes equations, is considered as a pilot application of the hosted cloud infrastructure. The parallel performance of the developed software service is assessed measuring parallel speedup of computations carried out on virtualized resources. The results obtained on Docker containers are compared with the performance measured by using the native hardware.
