Abstract
In the paper these structural parameters of ceramic samples are determined experimentally: density, general contraction, compressive strength, the rate of ultrasound spread. Ceramic samples are burnt according to sixteen different burning regimes, which are divided into three stages: temperature increase, keeping temperature at the maximum, and temperature decrease. The statistical analysis of experimental data is performed and two types of empirical equations derived whereby the properties of ceramic body may be foreseen after selection of the magnitudes of burning regime stages, and vice versa, burning regime may be selected after the selection of desirable properties of ceramic body.
