Biodyzelino naudojimo galimybės ir perspektyvos Lietuvoje
Abstract
Lithuania is facing new challenges to ensure that by 2020, biofuels account for at least 10% of the total energy consumption in the transport sector. In order to achieve these results, the favorable legal, economic, social, technological, and environmental environments that are supportive and encouraging, and ensuring the production and distribution of biofuels in the Lithuanian market, are very important. This article analyzes the laws of Lithuania Republic and the Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council on the promotion of the use of biofuels and other renewable fuels for transport. Also, the results of calculating environmental pollution taxes using pure mineral diesel are also provided, and the production costs of the second generation biodiesel NExBTL fuel are estimated.
