E-learning in construction management program at VGTU (Lithuania)

Abstract
In this paper the eight years of theoretical and practical experience of e-learning un-der Construction Economics and Business study program at the Department of Construc-tion Economics and Property Management at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University is presented. According to the questionnaire of both former and current students, the find-ings of this poll are analysed. Mostly there were employees from construction enterprises questioned. The present paper analyses in more detail the composition of the student body by emphasizing the problems of the learning process, the social, economic, moral issues related to the labour market integration of trained professionals, etc. The conclu-sions are drawn, emphasising the problems of learning process and future trends.
