Miesto apšvietimo tipologija
Abstract
The directed message is dedicated to characterize some parts of urban lighting expression, to identify its resemblance and distinction and finally to provide opportunity analysis. The goal of this presentation is to show up the typology of urban lighting on the basis of present typological group exam-ples. Lithuanian urban lighting typology lacks for research. Also, there ex-ists no lighting terminology. The situation supposes a problem in evaluating a rich opportunity for urban lighting aesthetics of illuminated streets, pedes-trian areas, parks, squares, monuments and exclusive architectural objects, which altogether form urban nightscape. Due to these problems Lithuanian cities have no aspired urban night vision at the moment; there still appears some sketchy delight about a single illuminated building whose illumination quality is described rather by illumination intensity than influence on urban nightscape.
