Abstract

From old times it is usual to apply typical measures on continuations of roads within residential areas of Lithuania. Analysis of these measures shows that they spoil an environment being unaesthetical, uncomfortable, ets. To solve this problem it is useful to use the experience of the Western countries. For this reason road infrastructure and small architecture must be combined in residential areas so as to satisfy human needs.
