Strategic decisions selection model in ICT development context
Abstract
The work under new conditions of ICT (information and communication technologies) development causes certain challenges and new conflicts within an organization. The need of two trends in change management tasks were detected during the research: first – when organization must react to the changes which arise in the market, and second – when organization wants to create break-even in the market by implementing ICT innovations. A problem of strategic decisions selection under changing environment caused by ICT develop-ment in order to create break-even and changes is analyzed in the article. The combination of scenarios’ method, good ICT practice and multicriteria evaluation is perspective in certain conditions because of need to describe sequence sets of conditions and circumstances which can emerge in future. As a result of synthesis of earlier mentioned methods the model of strategic decisions selection was created. Such synthesis allows versa-tile evaluation and reasoning of strategic decisions selection in aspects of viability regarding changeable envi-ronment situations.
