Abstract

The paper presents the material about the begining of Construction Materials Science and studies, research and study process at University of Lithuania in Kaunas (University of Vytautas Magnus) as well as during postwar period in 1956 reestablished Department of Construction Materials of Kaunas University of Technology and in 1976 established Department of Construction Materials of Gediminas Technical University.
