Highway engineering specialists’ competence in the team work and negotiations

Abstract

Highway engineering work involves the need to solve many theoretical, economical and technical problems. The good highway engineering specialist has to be a prominent personality who loves his/her work and satisfies major engineering profession and ethics requirements. He/she should also be creative and ready to organize teamwork, apply various negotiation styles. The aim of this presentation is to explore highway engineering specialist’s competence in the teamwork and negotiations. The results of this investigation are discussed in the paper.
