Modeling, simulation and testing of flexible rotating system

Abstract

Dynamic process of rotating system with flexible coupling is considered. The toothed flexible coupling consists of elastic plates packages. In each notch of the semi couplings there are steel plates which transmit torgue between the rotors. Between the plates inside the package and semi couplings are thin layers of the oil. In dynamic process of rotating system elastic contact between plates and between plates and semi couplings teeth situated. Results of the simulation and experimental measurements of dynamic processes of the rotors system are presented and used in new coupling design.
