Problem of slenderness effect of multilayer walls with flexible ties is discussed. Numerical analysis was carried out with the aim to evaluate an influence of rigidity of thermal insulation layer on buckling of complex wall. The main variables taken into account were thickens of load bearing layers, physical and mechanical properties of wall materials, total amount and distribution of flexible ties. On the base of numerical simulation data a calculation method is suggested how to evaluate general slenderness of complex multilayer wall depending on thickness difference between exterior and interior wall layers and rigidity of thermal insulation layer.
