Sustainable development measurement in Lithuania

Abstract

Setting of harmonized measurement system of sustainable development interferes with a number of doubtfulness. Majority of measurement systems that are used now are incomparable and subjective. The main aim off this paper is to analyze the generally used measurement methods for evaluation sustainable development taking into account the progress of Lithuania in respect to the EU countries in the field of sustainable development.
