The concept of green logistics in Lithuanian transport companies

Abstract

The ecological aspects of transport companies are becoming increasingly important in the transportation industry. They are eager to innovate in terms of ecology, because it is a huge asset in a competitive struggle. At present, the concept of \"green\" logistics in Lithuania is poorly developed, there is a lack of a comprehensive definition of the concept, practical realization possibilities and the identification of Lithuanian needs, developing the concept of \"green logistics\". Lithuania is the standard example of ecological solutions used for green fuel, without paying attention to other criteria of green logistics. Therefore, it is very important to identify the logistics of raw materials for transport companies, since the timely introduction of these solutions in enterprises is now. The article contains a survey of respondents that identifies the most important criteria for green logistics. This allows us to reveal what kind of logistics concept is prevalent in Lithuanian enterprises
