Abstract
The experiments were carried out on two kinds of spherical graphite iron: as cast and normalized, to determine the influence of cast iron mechanical properties on high-cycle fatigue strength. By testing compact tensile CT specimens for the limit stress intensity factor range the dependences have been established on following factors of mechanical properties: hardness, plasticity, yield and strength. Proposed an analytic expression of Delta K-th on factors of mechanical properties may be applied for strength calculations of cyclically loaded high precision components.
