Abstract
In this article the situation of the high technologies in Lithuania is being analyzed and the importance of internationalization is evaluated. The goal of the work is to formulate theoretical guidelines for the development of the sector of high technology in the economy of Lithuania. To achieve this, the main factors, which have some effect on it, are identified. There is agreed, that the market of high technologies is international, especially in nowadays condition of internationalization. That's why attention to main problems which may appear in international markets is given. The analysis of foreign scientific authors' works helps to determine main ways and methods to develop business outside home country. To answer the most important question, how to run Lithuanian sector of high technology, there is overview of classic foreign theories given. All analyzed theories are divided into multinational business theory, product's innovation and cycle theory, theory' of internationalization process and international manufacturing theory. Before analyzed theories are compared with nowadays methods. There are three main methods of business arc marketed off: method of adaptation, experimentation method, mixed method. Having overvicwed the collected information, literature resources and its analysis, teoretical assumptions to create the guidelines for the development of the sector of hight technology in Lithuania are presented at the end of the work. In conclusion, there given an offer to apply model of "triple spiral", which ensures interaction between idea-makers, business sector and government.
