Abstract
As programmable implementation of computer-based building design is improving, issues of training professionals of civil engineering on this topic arise as well. The article analyses equivalence between computer-based teaching content of “Civil engineering” programme within the Civil engineering department of Vilnius Gediminas Technical University and possibilities of modern programmable graphics systems to design architecture of buildings and structure of constructions. Arguments expounded in the article are illustrated with examples of wall elements created using graphic system Revit Architecture.
