Specific characteristics of development of the high technologies business. A case of mobile communications
Abstract
High technologies development has strategic importance on improving national economy effectiveness and assuring a country's competitiveness. Therefore, in the article there is analyzed the specifics of high technologies development that derives from exceptional high technologies features. These specific features of high technologies influence the rise of specific characteristics of high technologies market. Thus, the article aims to set priorities for a successful development of high technologies business. The analysis is conducted in parallel, taking into comparison scientific literature of specifics and development of high technologies and development of one of the fastest developing high technologies market segments - mobile communication services. In the article there is analyzed mobile communication technologies development, mobile communication services growth according to statistical data and respective conclusions drawn. After conducting analysis it can be concluded that the development of the high technologies business depends first of all on development of the high technologies. The success of developing high technologies depends on implementation of the "triple helix" model covering integration of the public and private sector as well as science. The high technologies business development also depends a lot on the business management and high technologies marketing. Therefore the abstract identifies public, private sector and science cooperation, high technology business and marketing management as a key priorities for the high technologies business development.
