Abstract
Deployment of Intelligent Transport Systems and Services (ITS) has been strongly acknowledged as crucial element of sustainable mobility, particularly - sustainability urban transport systems. ITS can help transport policy makers to must find methods to increase mobility and at the same time to reduce negative effects of public transport (congestion, accidents, noise and pollution) and bringing other benefits. Sustainable multimodality leads to a better productivity and attractiveness of transport and positively influences mobility. The aim of the research is to evaluate new ITS developments and provide structured overview of the main ITS policy components - strategy, architecture, relationship of enabling technologies and main benefits to achieve.
