An extremely simple feedback technique has been proposed to desynchronize an array of the mean-field coupled FitzHugh-Nagumo type oscillators. A negative impedance converter based unit has been used for the remote virtual grounding of the coupling node of the array. The performance of the technique has been demonstraded both by means of numerical simulation and hardware experiments.
