Abstract

The specialists of the environmental protection are qualified by universities in Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipeda. It is comparatively new, but very important and useful speciality, especially in nowadays, when environmental protection problems are being solved in the world scale. Earlier as it was not clear the demand for these specialists and how many of them could be qualified by the universities. In aim to ascertain the 'demand' and 'supply' of the specialists of environmental engineering some kind of researches was implemented. Only the number of the environmental protection's specialists in the Ministry of Environment, their education, age and graduated universities have been analysed in this article.
