Constructional data bases in CAD/CAM system

Abstract

Constructional data bases (CDB) in integrated CAD/CAM systems are of the greatest importance. All geometrical and graphical information about design and manufacture of technical objects is preserved in these bases. principal components of CDB are geometrical, graphical data bases and system of relationship between these bases. In this paper the structure of constructional data bases and interface CGIA are presented.
