Abstract

The paper considers the status of engineering graphics, possible ways of its development taking into account computerization of the society. The main conclusion is that solving of graphics problems is possible only with the help of own adapted computer systems. Otherwise the departments of graphics of universities will become courses of commercial graphical systems or will disappear as not wanted.
