Research of life resource problem of locomotive auxiliary drive

Abstract
This paper is intended to research of lifetime problem of slice drives in rotors with big inertia moment. Problem of such drives lowers reliability of whole transport system and requires additional technical diagnostics and maintaining of auxiliary drives. Research was performed as complex work, which includes experimental research of drive measurement, metal quality analysis and theoretical analysis, where dynamical model was created and possible dynamic impact from drive operation was evaluated. Experimental research was performed on typically broken/worn slice shaft and sliced sleeve, where measurements of wearing in sleeve was made, using microscopy. Size and character of wearing/slice broke was analyzed and main load direction was found. For proper material analysis local area in sliced sleeve was polished and developed, later structure was checked, hardness measured. For used type of metal properties was checked. Theoretical analysis of drive was performed using created dynamical model of such drive, some simplification for model from real design was done. This model allows analyzing dynamic behavior of drive and finding desired stiffness of coupling in slice connection. Using solution of such dynamic model dangerous modes and corresponding frequencies was found. Research raised proposal about possible change in design of drive and necessary parameters was found. Finally, there are presented results of research and conclusions are done.
