Forecasting of freight transportation volumes considering conditions of negative development

Abstract
The forecasts of Climbing out of economic crisis and entrance the progress of growing activity and also further development of railway transport sector have to appeal to fundamental providences of perspective development defining new projections on the development of National economy. In order to reach these aims projections of the GDP index were made. The forecasts of Lithuanian railway freight transportation volumes till the year 2040 are prepared for the Transport Corridors I and IX; for freight flows of separate countries and unions transporting transit, export and import freights through the territory of Lithuania. Forecasts are prepared for local market, international transportation on regional railways. They are detailed for separate sectors and opposite directions.
