Abstract
For years, small and mediums sized enterprises (the main users of AutoCAD LT) have relied on manual approaches and inefficient document processes to manage their important CAD drawings. Manual approaches in document management can lead to frequent "breakdowns" and absorb time on an ongoing basis. The possible solution to this problem is application of technology that provided automated documents control for straightforward CAD applications (such as AutoCAD LT) and can be used as integrated part of Window Explore as well as Microsoft Office. In this work, the example of Kinnosa product family is described that includes property, metadata and relationship management along with external reference management. It also involved auditing and traceability, documents access control and automated releases.
