CAD systems application for modelling landscape and its elements
Santrauka
Graphical visualization is an extremely powerful communication tool for better understanding landscape processes, functions and features. The graphics systems significantly improved designer work on hand. The rapid development of graphics objects and their visual presentation - that is the main thing in the contemporary design development process. This work reviews the design peculiarities of an individual landscape with AutoCAD system. Modelling landscape consist of several stages. All of them are important and require intensive work. Topographical land surface is formed using TIN method. The individual components, such as vegetation, small buildings, parametric objects (stairs, etc.), fencing and irrigation systems, can be simulated using CAD systems. By the way, CAD systems allow simulating the lighting plot, which gives a true picture of the total. On the first stage of design the landscape is divided into separate areas which depend on future or existing buildings, plantings, utilities and others. Only after that the development of a specific area is started, eventually all zones are combined together using visualization drawing tools.
