Abstract
In case to prevent environmental risk we need to use well - investigated sorbents. Is necessary to have reserves in places where contamination with oil products is potential. The quantity of sorbent must be sufficient. Thus it requires detailed investigation of sorbtion of oil products. Oil, grease, solvents have been separated from hard and liquid surface using physical methods: settlement by gravity, due to flotation or separation processes. Textile wastes, sawdust helped to remove contaminants from hard (floor, instruments, soil) surface and water surfaces. These materials work as detergents, while only a few detergents were used. Increase in sorbents quantity, and their assortment in technological process met difficulties to in choosing particular sorbent. Biosorbents, as one kind of sorbents, are worth to be analyzed for their non - hazardous impact on environment. They can be easily collected, have property to degrade and can be utilized in the future. They are produced from naturally originated materials, that contain no compounds as source of second contamination usage of biosorbents is the new attitude to solve environmental problems, related with oil and oil products contamination.
