Some aspects of environment formation on urban pedestrian streets
Abstract
In the 20th century cars overflowed streets and turned them into intensive traffic corridors, and squares were turned into parking places or traffic flow junctures, etc. Streets became narrow, noisy, polluted by gas, and a human being started feeling insecure and uncomfortable. Streets lost their cultural and communal significance. Solving this problem, the communication system should be dealt with systematically in towns and great attention should be paid to installation of pedestrian streets and zones in the downtown and formation of their environment.
