Cylindrical linear electric drives of industrial mechanisms

Abstract

The paper substantiates theoretical and experimental aspects by the authors to develop and investigate linear electric drives with cylindrical linear induction motors. The example of employing such linear drives in the conventional high voltage circuit-breakers, in the circuit-breakers with separately controlled contacts and in the industrial continuous action furnace to push magnetic cores is presented.
