The article deals with theme of ventilation heat recovery. For heat recovery firstly used run – around closed loop system with glycol as fluid and heat exchangers in air handling unit. To recover remain heat and warm up inlet air to design conditions, air source heat pump (ASHP) is used. Two different compressors’ modulation is compared. After the ventilation system operating mode, description and illustration are presented. Energy and exergy balances were made for every system component. The main parameters and energy efficiency were calculated. An exergy balance for every system device and overall system were calculated as well as ventilation systems’ exergy efficiency was defined. Sensitivity evaluation changing refrigerant type of current system was carried out. Results comparison and the conclusions have been done.
