Klaipėda region municipality monitoring programs environmental – methodological approaches

Abstract

Klaipėda district environmental monitoring program is complex; consisting of air, open water pool, groundwater, soil, noise, and wildlife monitoring. This is one of the first environmental monitoring programs, which for the first time to include the wildlife monitoring. Each part of the monitoring program provided a short overview of monitoring the performance goal, the main tasks of monitoring, and the need for justification, the monitoring site selection methodology and other aspects.
