The improvement of the design and analysis method had been made in the form of both theoretical and empirical approach in the beginning in order to reproduce the experimental results of load-deformation relationships. The goal of this paper is to present recent experiences in the field of computer simulation methods of concrete structures and its potential for practical engineering work. The model is presented and the features of the proposed formulation are discussed of non-linear 3D-FEM analysis of punching shear behaviour of slab-column connection which can accurately visualize crack pattern and strain/stress distribution inside the slab-column connection and finally this mechanism could be taken into account to formulate design equation for punching shear strength capacity. The comparison between experimental results and analysis of slab-column connections subjected to transverse loads and moments is presented.
