Candidate reference materials for the ENISO 11925-2 test method

Abstract
Eight criteria for the determination of candidate reference material are proposed and analysed. The main attention is paid to "the sensitivity" and the stability of the test results of the main proposed criteria for the separate candidate reference materials. Several materials which were selected from common building materials are proposed for this method validation, calibration of the test equipment, estimation of measurement uncertainty, training and for internal quality control and external quality assurance (proficiency testing) purpose. The proposals for how develop reference materials are given.
