The wheels of public transport vehicles place static or dynamic load on pavement of public transport stops, causing plastic deformations (ruts and corrugations) and the risk for pavement deterioration. This paper gives the analysis of the effect of geometric parameters of public transport stops on their pavement stability, also the results of pavement structure investigations on the Vilnius city streets. In the result of design activities two asphalt concrete pavement structures are suggested and recommended for public transport stops.
