The analysis of logistics centre location models (non-competitive and competitive location models)

Abstract

The aim of this paper is a review of selected methods and tools allowing to design and analyse the logistics chain functions, with particular attention paid to the methods of supporting desicion making in the locations of logistics centres and planning their functions. Distinguished are here, on one hand, the tools and techniques of analysis and simulation of an entire logistics chain and, on the other hand, models and methods of planning the logistics centre location and optimizing some logistics chain functions.
