Analysis of passenger vibration comfort in a train

Abstract

The article investigates the problem of impact of railway carriage vibration on passenger comfort. Impact of vibration on passenger organisms is being analyzed. Based on scientific research and international standards, the article presents the methods for assessing overall vibration comfort of passengers. Using results of experimental tests of electric train on the Lithuanian railway section, the assessment of passenger comfort at different points and levels of trial train was performed.
