A multicriteria method for choosing the best object for investments

Abstract

The analysis of historical buildings condition reveals some facts of erroneous policies in reconstruction project chosen. Due to the high price of such mistakes, the choise of the best reconsrtuction project should be well founded. In this paper, we give an overview of existing methods for choosing the alternative and propose a new multicriteria method SNOD (Scale of Normalized and Ordered Differences), which is based on a Verbal Decision Analysis approach.
