Supression of mechanical oscillations in a nonlinear system
Abstract
The model of dynamic damper was applied for suppression of oscillations of the nonlinear mechanical systems. With the help of the model the system parameters were determined with the smallest possible amplitudes. The determined own frequency of dynamic damper in all cases is approximate to the frequency of system excitation. Because of damaging impact of oscillations in machines, damage situations and accidents in industry, transport and prevention of vibration diseases the oscillation suppression problem is forced to be solved by searching more theoretical solution methods of mathematical models of mechanical nonlinear systems with various elastic elements and applying them in practice. Suppression of micro-oscillations is one of the most important problems solved currently in the systems of machine manufacture, aviation and transport: dynamic oscillation dampers are applied that are usually in the system itself or they are toughly connected with the vibrant element. Solving the tasks of nonlinear mechanical systems the method of harmonic linearization provides sufficiently good results even in the case when the external force besides the accidental component has the periodical one.
