Abstract

The proper nonlinear 2D calculation of deformation of reinforced concrete tensile members by FE software ATENA is the subject of this paper the fixed smeared crack model in the concrete was used with fracture energy conception. It will be shown the mesh dependence on the calculation rezults. To make these results independence from the mesh changes the relationships to converse the fracture energy value of tensile concrete were proposed.
